Itineraries

• • Day 01: Arrive, Addis, transfer to your Hotel.
  • Day 02: Drive to Kombolcha. If it’s on Sunday visit the Oromo market at Sembete village. O/N local hotel called Tekle.
  • Day 03: Drive to Lalibela. On the way, you can visit the monastery of St. Estifanos on Lake Hayk (it’s allowed only for Men)   O/N Roha hotel.
  • Day 04: full-day visit of the rock-hewed churches of Lalibela. O/N Roha hotel.
  • Day 05: am excursion to the Asheten Mariam monastery by mule, pm visits the Yemrehane Kristos monastery which is 42 Km out of Lalibela town. O/N Roha hotel.
  • Day 06: Drive to Mekele. O/N Mekele Axum hotel.
  • Day 07: Drive to Adigrat. On the way visit some of the 6th century AD rock-hewn churches of Tigray, such as Abreha Atsebeha, wukro kirkos, Petros Paulos, and some more. O/N local hotel called weldu sebagadis.
  • Day 08: Drive to Axum. On the way visit the Debredamo Monastery where you climb up to 16 meters by a rope (it’s allowed only for Men) and the 5th century BC temple of YEHA, O/N Yeha hotel.
  • Day 09: full-day site seeing of Axum. The stile field, archeological museum and St. merry of Tsion church, and more. O/N Yeha hotel
  • Day 10: Drive to the Siemen mountains national park through the Tekeze gorge for the spectacular landscape and to visit some of the endemic mammals like the Gilada Baboon and Walia Ibex, also you can walk for some hours. O/N Siemen Lodge. (New lodge in the National Park).
  • Day 11: am drive to Gonder, transfer to your hotel. Pm site seeing of Gonder. The castle and bath of King fasil(17th century AD), the trinity, and Qusquam Mariam monastery. O/N Goha hotel.
  • Day 12: am drive to Bahirdar, transfer to your hotel. PM boat rides on Lake Tana to visit the monasteries. O/N Tana hotel.
  • Day 13: am drive to the Blue Nile Falls, pm makes a city tour of Bahirdar. O/N Tana hotel
  • Day 14: Drive to Debre Markos. On the way, you will visit some of the Amhara people’s villages. O/N Shebel hotel.
  • Day 15: Drive to Addis. On the way visit the 17th-century monastery called Debrelibanos, by crossing the Blue Nile Gorge and the bridge of Blue Nile. O/N Ghion Hoel
